Aishwarya's father Krishnaraj Rai was a marine engineer and her mother Vrinda Rai is a writer. aishwarya also has an older brother Aditya Rai who is in the merchant navy. Aishwarya started her modeling career at a young age. She is architecture student before she started her modeling as a part-time job. Aishwarya started her career in the film industry with a Tamil film "Iruvar" in 1997 which was a hit as opposed to her Hindi film "Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya" with co-actor Bobby Deol. She has won a miss world title in 1994 and also she got a chance of as known hot indian miss world. She is not only appeared in bollywood but also she connected with hollywood film industry. she have done so many hollywood film as an actress. Her green-blue-eyes is so popular. Aishwarya's this green-blue-eyes also appeared in many addvartisment. She won so many bollywood awards like Best Female Actress or Best Actress by FilmFare Awards and by Zee Cine Awards. In year of 2004 saw she take on the leading role in her first English language movie for Gurinder Chadha in "Bride & Prejudice".
